      chrisltd Yup, they weren’t willing to bid heavily (especially since they’re getting all of IndyCar next season) and ESPN was. Probably because NBC spent money on their coverage with a full video package & analyst team, while ESPN is just simulcasting Sky Sports from the UK.

    chrisltd The problem with F1 is that the video feed itself is controlled and edited by F1 — so there’s not a lot of value-add for channels since they can’t control what you’re shown, just the commentary.
