      3315Aviation vcdgf555 It’s a very rare Boeing conversion to a combi. These are unusual because they have pax separated from the flight deck by the cargo deck. Alaska Airlines used to fly them on their “milk run” routes in the Alaskan panhandle

    3315Aviation vcdgf555 As I understand it, the design was this way to allow the use of the 737’s upper deck cargo door and therefore full-sized ‘igloo’ cargo pallets.

      3315Aviation vcdgf555 There’s no room aft of the wing for a pallet handler to park and load onto a rear door, and the forward cargo door already had an STC when the combi conversion was designed.
