        maiab People are empowered! They’re just lazy. There are *tons* of freely available studies about vaccination on MedRxiv and other pre-pub and post-pub sources. And there’s lots of scientists who are willing to critically engage on twitter and other social media.

      maiab I’m not a sheep, I went and *talked to scientists*. The problem is that people choose to “do their research” with unreliable sources.

    maiab You can’t say “these people are trying to think critically” and also assert that “blindly trusting the first person on YouTube” is the same thing! If Fauci and the CDC lie, meaning anyone who follows them is a sheep, why are the people who follow liars on YouTube *not* sheep?

      maiab For the record, I also think the perpetual-pandemic identity folks (i.e. “we will always wear masks and Covid is scary forever”) are just as much of sheep as the people who trust that horse paste will save them. But one group is putting my loved ones at risk and the others aren’t
