    bridges4people NotBenWald TransAlt I am *so* in favor of using a second lane on the BK side. And then maybe some capital investment on the Manhattan landing. My dream is removing the left turn from Centre onto the bridge and making all traffic come from the FDR ramp or Park Row.

      bridges4people NotBenWald TransAlt It means fewer merges! Which will increase traffic speed! Plus it kills the conflict between left-turning traffic and pedestrians which is slow and nasty.
