    1. The thing that upsets me most about the hkmap thing is that the stated reason for its removal from the App Store was that the police said it was being used illegally. And Tim Cook, and by extension Apple, took them at their word.

    How can you live in America, in 2019, and take a police force or the government at their word? The mendacity that’s regularly on display at all levels of state authority right now should give anyone pause.
