      joshavant I’m currently living in a world where there’s so much broken stuff that was built 3 years ago with the assumption that it’d be shipped and revised. But what actually happened was it shipped and then the team was moved onto other projects and now it’s abandonware.

    joshavant But we’ve now hit a scale where we can’t leave land mines all over the codebase — things need to be built well enough that they won’t break randomly in the future.
